Raising awareness of digital risks: ACYMA publishes a complete kit under an open license

ACYMA (Actions contre la cybermalveillance) has just published the full version of its digital risk awareness kit. Available as a free download from cybermalveillance.gouv.fr, this tool is available at to individuals, professionals and local authorities alike. Use it without moderation!

The 2019 digital risk awareness kit

The digital risk awareness kit comes at a time of increasing and constantly renewed cyber-attacks and acts of cyber-maliciousness. It has been designed to raise user awareness and spread good digital practices in both private and professional environments.

Both a prevention tool and a digital safety guide, this kit is the fruit of collaboration between ACYMA members (public institutions, private organizations and associations) and private and/or professional users.

“We have therefore identified, with the help of our public and private members, the threats that our fellow citizens encounter on a daily basis, in order to explain the best practices for protecting against them, and to do so in a pragmatic and entertaining way.” (Jérôme Notin, Managing Director of cybermalveillance.gouv.fr)

Sheets and teaching tools on digital risks and best practices

ACYMA had published a first kit in 2018 addressing four themes, and which the 2019 version comes to enrich with five new topics, always linked to current events and our daily practices:

  • 6 fiches pour adopter les bonnes pratiques numériques :
    • Passwords
    • Safety on social networks
    • Mobile device security
    • Backups
    • Updates
    • Security for personal and business use
  • 3 fiches pour comprendre les risques numériques :

With its new graphics, the kit is accessible to all, whether for personal or professional use, and whatever your level of computer security . In addition to the information sheets, also includes fun, interactive features such as comic strips, memos, quizzes and posters.

ACYMA, a national assistance system for victims of cyber-malware

This awareness-raising kit is the brainchild of the ACYMA (Actions contre la cybermalveillance) public interest group, a national scheme to assist victims of cyber-malicious acts. It brings together public and private players (ministries, the State Secretariat for Digital Affairs, companies, associations, etc.), and is aimed at individuals, companies and local authorities. ACYMA runs the online platform cybermalveillance.gouv.fr, dedicated to assistance, observation and prevention of digital risk.

The digital risk awareness kit is released under an open license Etalab 2.0 to facilitate its distribution and use. By downloading , you will be free to reproduce, copy, adapt, modify, communicate, disseminate, redistribute and use in your productions ( training materials, etc.) all of its content (provided you cite your source).

“The strong choice of open licenses also means that everyone can adapt the content to their own specific environment. (Jérôme Notin, Managing Director of cybermalveillance.gouv.fr).
