The shipment of your data storage media is a sensitive stage, during which your equipment presents an additional vulnerability. In order to guarantee its security, Databack details the shipping procedure and the points to bear in mind when shipping your media securely.

As soon as we receive your bracket in our laboratory, we send you a confirmation e-mail. Your media is thus identified and sent with its file to the technical department.

Databack has the expertise to recover data from any type of data storage medium (HDD, SSD, tape, etc.) and architecture (servers NAS and SAN servers, RAID…). A diagnosis of your hardware enables us to determine the nature of the problem and the extent of the loss.

Each case is unique and varies according to media type, stored capacity, file type and operating system. This diagnostic phase enables us to confirm the feasibility, cost and timeframe of restoring your data. These results are sent to you in the form of a breakdown report, accompanied by a quotation validated and guaranteed by Databack, and a list of recoverable files.

The decision to continue data recovery is then completely up to you.

Data recovery and backup

Data recovery data recovery are initiated by our laboratory after validation of the analysis results. They depend on the type of media, the nature of the loss or breakdown, etc., and are carried out in accordance with the required service level.

The data is then extracted and copied to a new medium (external hard disk, USB key, etc.), according to a security level of your choice.

Data feedback

Once your data has been restored, we return your new data storage medium to you by Colissimo or express delivery.

You then have 15 days from signing the delivery note to inform us of any difficulties you may encounter in accessing, reading or using this medium.

During this period, Databack retains a copy of the recovered data and, if necessary, undertakes to send you a copy as soon as possible.
