Databack’s data recovery process is designed to simplify your procedures, provide a response commensurate with the urgency of your situation, and guarantee the security and confidentiality of your data. Simple, fast and secure, our process can be integrated into your risk management strategies, and form part of your organization’s BCP (Business Continuity Plan) / DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan).

Step 1 - Consultation and free quote

As soon as you detect a data loss, Databack offers you a free consultation to assess your situation. We will send you a free estimate, based on the nature of the failure or loss, the data storage medium, the sensitivity and volume of the data, etc.

Step 2 - Shipping your media

Send us your data storage media or computer hardware, taking care to protect it (anti-static packaging or bubble wrap, foam, suitable cardboard, etc.). Databack will send you an acknowledgement by e-mail as soon as we receive your equipment, so that we can initiate the diagnosis and take charge of it.

Step 3 - Diagnosis and data recovery

Our laboratory will diagnose your storage media or hardware to determine the nature and source of the data loss. This phase enables us to define the feasibility, cost and timeframe for restoring your data. Once you have given your approval, Databack proceeds with the operations required to recover your data.

Step 4 - Saving and restoring your data

The data extracted by us is copied to a new storage medium, with a level of security defined by you (data encryption, etc.). Your new media is returned to you by us, and you then have 15 days to inform us of any problems you may have using your restored data.
